Core Mechanics

Gauntlets apply a passive luck bonus to every roll you make while equipped. Unlike potions which are temporary, gauntlet luck is permanent and compounds over time. The crafting loop is: roll for auras → craft gauntlet → equip for higher luck → roll for rarer auras → craft better gauntlet. Each gauntlet tier requires progressively rarer auras as materials.

Gauntlets provide the only permanent luck increase in Sol's RNG. Unlike potions which expire, a crafted gauntlet boosts every roll you make for the rest of your playtime. The compounding effect is enormous: a small permanent luck bonus applied to thousands of rolls over time adds up to far more total luck than any number of temporary potions.

Challenges

Gauntlets consume auras permanently — once you craft a gauntlet, those auras are gone forever. If you sacrifice rare auras for a mid-tier gauntlet and later discover you needed those auras for a higher-tier recipe, there's no way to recover them. This makes the crafting order critical: always plan several tiers ahead before committing rare aura materials.
